If you have been virtual since last spring, you don't need this book. Usually a fan of Doug Lemov, but this book does not talk about student engagement and accountability. Students need to realize they are an important part of this new "normal" education format and put forth the effort and focus needed to be successful. Doug gives the advice of "giving fish" instead of teaching them "how to fish." Clearly this book was written quickly to make a buck off the current teaching situation. The video clips are clearly staged and do not represent a "real" classroom. Don't waste your money.
