I really enjoyed this series. While it's fantasy it also brings to light a lot of political stigma and how judgement can really effect people who are different. It's depressing at times but it's a really good read. It's full of action, there's romance in a sense but it's more akin to two folks who desperately need each other coming together. I'd recommend it as long as you are into m/m action or really don't care either way.
